Anatomy of Fulfillment – Part 2 – Albany Times Union

The trunk of the tree consists of our psychological muscles – the strengths and attitudes that support us as we pursue our goals and face life’s challenges.  The branches of the tree are our values and goals, and the fruit of the tree are the rewards we want from life – success, meaning, improved relationships, etc. When designing this model, it occurred to me that if blame could be converted into energy, it could power the world.  That’s a troubling idea that really speaks to the energy we put into blame; energy we could spend building strong psychological muscles, thriving in our own lives, and helping the world.
