Fayetteville council vents frustration over Market House image on city property – The Fayetteville Observer

The time for procrastination must end when it comes to eliminating the Market House emblem from all city property, the Fayetteville City Council decided in a special meeting on Monday. The council voted unanimously to instruct the city staff to make a specific cost plan and timeline for finishing the job that was started in 2015 to take the controversial symbol off city property. The council voted in favor of Mayor Mitch Colvin’s request to move ahead with removing the image from items such as trash cans, the city flag and the official seal on city documents.
