It was a tight game throughout but I couldn't tell you anything about it beyond Paddy McBrearty's wonderful late winner and Derry's ridiculous and ultimately fatal procrastination when they needed an equaliser. Football's not coming home, and the sweepstake is mine. A 19-year-old has just been asked to take a penalty kick upon which a huge nation depended, he had the guts to answer the call, his strike was saved, and now he's at the mercy of a spineless minority of overweight simpletons who had already tattooed the Henri Delauney Cup to their upper arm.
