WVU students head back to campus for first day of class – WV News

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia University welcomed students back for 2020 and the spring semester with the first day of classes on campus. Students, faculty and staff filled the sidewalks, streets and parking lots on WVU's campuses to kick off another year for the university. "Our core Mountaineer values are stronger than ever, " WVU President E Gordon Gee said in his first "Gee Mail" video message of the year. "The students are back, the traffic is back and it's not raining, " Associate Provost Evan Widders said.
